Pixelfswift was established in 2017 by a team of culinary and event-operations professionals who saw a gap between high-quality food and reliable event execution in the Calgary market.
What Pixelfswift Does
Pixelfswift is a full-service catering company based in Calgary, Alberta, providing professional food and beverage service for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and fundraising galas. We do not operate a restaurant or a retail food business. Every resource we have — our kitchen, our team, our planning infrastructure — is dedicated exclusively to event catering. This focus means we can apply a level of pre-event planning and on-site coordination that a restaurant-based catering operation typically cannot. Our clients are event planners, corporate hospitality managers, and private individuals who need a catering partner that treats logistics as seriously as it treats the food itself. We serve Calgary and the surrounding region, including the Bow Valley corridor west to Canmore and Banff, and the communities south and north along the QE2.
How We Work and What You Can Expect
Since 2017, Pixelfswift has completed more than 400 catering engagements across Alberta. Our core team of eight full-time culinary and operations staff is supplemented by a trained roster of event-day staff we have worked with consistently over multiple seasons — not a generic temp pool. Our process is methodical: every engagement begins with a written brief, proceeds through a site assessment and menu tasting, and concludes with a post-event debrief that informs how we improve the next one. We use a warm terracotta-cream visual identity across our table settings, uniforms, and printed materials because we believe the physical environment of a dining experience matters as much as the food. What Pixelfswift does not do: we do not provide bar licensing or alcohol service (we coordinate with your licensed bartender or bar service provider), and we cannot guarantee outcomes that depend on variables outside our control, such as venue equipment failures or severe weather at outdoor events. We are transparent about these limits from the first planning call.
